Wave Alchemy SYS100 DRUMS Ableton Live User Guide Installation In Ableton Live: a) Click ‘File’ and ‘Install Pack..’ b) Navigate to your Wave Alchemy download and open ‘SYS-100 Drums Live Pack.alp’ c) Choose your destination for the Live Pack and click OK d) In the Ableton Browser, under ‘PLACES’ click ‘Add Folder…’ (if you see no Browser click on ‘View’ and check ‘Show Browser’) e) Navigate to your newly installed SYS-100 Live Pack folder, select ‘SYS-100 Drum Rack’ and click OK f) Now you see a new folder called ‘SYS-100 Drum Rack’ in the Ableton Browser under the ‘PLACES’ heading g) Select this and then open the ‘SYS100 Drum Rack.als’ file in the right of the Browser It will take a long time to load, this is normal. The Ableton Live Pack pools all samples into the ‘Samples’ folder. The same samples can be found organised into sections and subfolders in the separate Sample Library download from Wave Alchemy. Use the Sample Library to find individual samples to add to your project outside of the Drum Rack. Overview The SYS100 Drum rack uses 4 different sets of drum pads which can be thought of as accessing different library sections.

Installation
In Ableton Live:
a) Click ‘File’ and ‘Install Pack..’
b) Navigate to your Wave Alchemy download and open ‘SYS-100 Drums Live Pack.alp’
c) Choose your destination for the Live Pack and click OK
d) In the Ableton Browser, under ‘PLACES’ click ‘Add Folder…’ (if you see no Browser click on ‘View’ and check ‘Show
Browser’)
e) Navigate to your newly installed SYS-100 Live Pack folder, select ‘SYS-100 Drum Rack’ and click OK
f) Now you see a new folder called ‘SYS-100 Drum Rack’ in the Ableton Browser under the ‘PLACES’ heading
g) Select this and then open the ‘SYS100 Drum Rack.als’ file in the right of the Browser
